Noticing Tess standing nearby from where she had been settled at the bar, Meg moved to get up and flutter over to her friend. “Hey beautiful!” She greeted, fingers brushing over Tess’ arm to get her attention. Light eyes would turn to the woman, “How are you feeling? I’m glad to see you out and around!”
Her own birthday was vastly approaching. Meg couldn’t remember who knew and who didn’t, though she understood that if anyone was privy to the information it was one or two people at most. She didn’t like to advertise the growth of another year.
