Meg/Ehren - At the bar
His eyes gleamed at her comment and a faint blush crept onto his cheeks, showing off the freckles he never grew out of. He eyed his glass. He was already on number four so maybe it was time to take it a little easy, since it was still early. He considered his options since he was still trying to impress Meg in a lot of ways. He could stick with scotch but that would cause him to get really drunk really fast. If he switched to beer he might be able to slow down and let everyone else catch up.
“How about a beer?” He hoped Tess or Riley didn’t slip him an IPA because he was trying to maintain his composure. It would be Riley’s style to try and lubricate his interaction with Meg by making him more carefree with harder alcohol. The noises started to get louder now as someone had put Queen on the jukebox and so when he spoke to her again he leaned in. “How are you? I’m sorry I didn’t stop by the bakery, I got a little busy this week.” Which wasn’t exactly untrue but it was also not exactly true either.
