Ehren’s eyebrows furrowed as he listened to her talk about what it was like inside of the cloud. It was too relatable. Maybe not in the same way that she experienced it but Ehren often felt trapped during his visions, unable to do anything. His eyes closed as he tried to not feel triggered by the idea. “I know what that’s like.” He said, but he couldn’t elaborate, not until he could make sure she was in a safe place.
As he opened his eyes he stared back out at the water, the ripples in it calming him. “It’s devastating, like it takes a little piece of you every single time it happens.” He remarked, looking down at his clasped hands that hung below his knees. “I wouldn’t wish a feeling like that on my worst enemy.”
