Riley met all sorts of people; he loved being around others in any sense of the word, and being honored to be trusted to nurture the minds of their children was humbling. He couldn’t help but be a social butterfly, how else was there to exist? But then he never judged anyone or really ever complained even if the situation became dire. He had all sorts of things he liked about people.
“I guess all surprises aren’t good ones, but then that’s why God made accidents. You just have to trust and hope things come out alright.” He smiled over at his friend after another bite or two of the brisket was consumed.
“I know we haven’t known each other for very long,” RIley began, “But I have a good feeling about you. Life is going to get you when you least expect it to, but in a good way. Just wait.”
