Jen reached out and placed her hand on April’s arm. Her skin seemed to tingle and glow a little as they touched. “It’s not your fault. I’m sorry you’re stuck with me right now.” Jen took her hand hand back, furrowing her brow at her hand. It had felt warm and comforting but she could also feel the fear and uncertainty from April. “You were hurt.” She said, not quite knowing how she knew that. “Someone hurt you.”
