Zayne was very curious and excited to see if the other man liked it. It was strange, if someone told him five years ago, he'd be living on an island, serving coffee, he would have laughed at them. Then again, he probably would have pictured a tropic island and being tan. If one ignored the less good parts of the island, it wasn't really a bad place. Or at least the coffee shop wasn't.
"I'm glad you like it!" Zayne said and grinned, "I'm pretty sure I'm made mostly of coffee so making it has to be a thing." He told Bart how much it was. He really wanted to give him a discount for being brave enough to try it but if Bart came back and wanted the same thing and price was up? He probably would be less impressed.
"Oh! Um, no? We do technically have a tip jar," Zayne found it on the counter, "but you don't have to if you don't want to?" He liked choosing drinks and making them up and it was still weird for him to accept tips. It was the nature of the business but it was a little weird for him. He needed to get over that.
