Earnestly the young woman had considered staying and chatting while finishing her coco, after all she loved the coco and company of others. Yet from the whole exchange shared...well Alice was pretty sure she just annoyed Dakota. So far the older woman had already expressed a distaste for baked goods, wasn't a fan of hearing Keene talk about her family; which honestly the young woman could understand since it was apparent that Dakota had no family of her own. Plus since they got to the coffee shop instead of talking for a bit the older woman was the one who wanted to get right down to business. Yet it was the earlier remark about her not being 'your girlfriend, or friend with benefits, or whatever else it is you're looking for' that had the blonde thinking Dakota really wouldn't even want to just hang out as friends. So not wishing to take up any more of Dakota's time, or further annoy her with more rambling, Alice offered a soft smile and a little wave goodbye before excusing herself at last.
