Life had been hard yet even amid the darkest of moments Alice had had rays of sunlight to guide her along. Her family was the rock, the anchor, that held her together. And for that she'd always be eternally grateful. For her family she came to this place, to this odd little island that quite often felt far more akin to a prison. For her family she put her life on hold, and did so without any true regret. Still for all that, for all the love she bore for her parents and siblings...well the young woman found herself needing to get away for a spell. Never long, never far, but just out and away to catch her breath.
Tonight proved to be one such needed night; after her older brother took such delight in teasing her about something silly. Oh there was no real anger at all, just the annoyance that only siblings could elicit. So after bundling up in her coat, and the scarf Rahim had gotten her for Christmas, Alice set out to take a stroll. Aimlessly she walked for a while, not truly searching for anything, but simply taking in the cool night air, and the sights that awaited.
At last though, when the young woman found herself in front of the cinema, Keene caught sight of a familiar face. Oh that blush that appeared across her cheeks was bright indeed, as the memory of Dakota's offer came popping into Alice's head. Yet instead of shying away this time the smaller young woman just smiled softly before she drew nearer. "Hi there. I uh...how are you doing?"
