The prospect of reaching out, of opening his home up to total strangers, was so very daunting. However, without a thriving social life...or at least some semblance of a social life at all, the young chef found himself feeling far from whole. Oh it was grand to have his twin around once more. The lost years would never be regained but time could be made up. Still his sister tended to enjoy spending her time working on a project, or tinkering away on some new invention. For AC, well math and science had never been his forte by any means. So even with his baby sis back in his life Adam felt a void all the same.
Just opening the front door a moment or two after the doorbell rang took every bit of his courage. Fear lingered there; fear that on the other side would be guards looking to thrash him and trash his place. However when Parish spotted the guests, the adult and child in tow, that smile of his warmed and he offered an earnest little wave. "Hey there! You're the first ones to uh, well to arrive. So come on in, and make yourself at home! Oh, I'm Adam by the way. Adam Parish. But most folks just call me AC."
