It had been quite the shift; going for a life filled without danger or fear, to being thrust into a place where one could be harmed or even killed at any minute. All because their lives were somehow viewed as lesser, due to a mutation that was beyond their own control. For the first week or two alone Adam barely slept, and the chef had been so very skittish when it came to being around anyone else except his own twin. Now though, well AC was still nervous when not safely hidden away at home or in the kitchen. However he was slowly starting to force himself back out there as well. "Zoe said the same thing to me too, and it's cool that folks around here aren't all like the guards."
A hint of a blush swept across Parish's face when she remarked about his food looking good. Still it was the fact that Daryn didn't seem worried about his sign/ability that really helped ease that innate concern away. When she mentioned having a had time eating of late though Adam's frown returned a little, and with a tiny nod of his head he chimed in again. "If it would help you, I could whip up some soup or something? I'm not really sure what sort of fresh ingredients they have here at the Market, but it wouldn't be hard at all to come up with something a bit more filling then a turnover."
