Zoe sighed and shook her head. "No, it's..." She pursed her lips a moment as she tried to figure out how to explain it- or rather how to explain it so someone else would understand. "I did feel something, but that's not really why I asked." Her voice went up at the end as if questioning her own motives. "Since my abilities kicked in I... process things... differently than others. Things that happen aren't just static memories that fade over time, they're crisp and clear and in HD ready to replay. Everything is filed and categorized with links between correlating ideas and..." She sighed. "I invited you because of a number of relevant factors that added up to it being the assumed best course of action at the moment." And it's a wonder her brother teased her about bring mutated into a robot.
Zoe tucked some hair behind her head. "And yes, emotion did play a part in it, but not the only part... and not only your emotion." Talk about something that processed differently once her powers kicked in. And now was a good time to just vacate the conversation before she dug this hole she was standing in any deeper.
