She gathered the leads and tucked them away. "I see." Zoe could see where the girl was coming from, recalling the first day she'd copied the Empathy. Closing her eyes a moment she tried to focus so she didn't get pulled into a replay of the memory. "Well hopefully we can help prevent any real flare ups or anything that could overwhelm her." Again she found herself wishing she could help other people with control the way she learned it. But everything just functioned differently for her. "It'll take me a few days to go over the results... and the holiday is on Monday, but we should be good for a second session next week."
Zoe zipped up the bag and closed up the carrier for the machine. "And the tear wasn't your fault, I wasn't as prepared." She stated, her back to him, she didn't want him to feel bad about it. She also wasn't sure if it was appropriate to ask him about it. It had felt very personal but also overwhelming in the moment, as brief as it was. "So, any plans for the holiday?" She asked, turning to him with a smile- trying to change the subject.
