It should have been a tad strange, to find himself being comforted by a stranger. Yet in truth; between her gentle touch, and he kind/honest words, AC felt far calmer about all that was happening. Oh he was still freaked out a bit, yet now far from having a panic attack. Just hearing about her father drew his mind back to the hospital on the day when they all found out about his sister's mutation.
"Quite surprised seems right. A couple years ago my twin sister had a uh, well not an attack but she sort of blacked out. When we got to the hospital the feds were there, and they told us she was a mutant...I mean, Zoe had always been super smart, but to find out that she had a power...it floored us." Looking back on it, he wished he had handled things better. Wished he had had the chance to spend more time with Zoe to offer her comfort, yet the government took her away so quickly that there hadn't been any time. "I hope she's okay. Zoe sent me a letter recently, which is why I came out here. But the guards wouldn't tell me anything at all. Maybe you can help? Have you met a young woman named Zoe Parish?"
