Anastasia smiled as she said her thanks and tucked the book into her bag for later reading. At his comment concerning the fact that he didn't come here to hide away and write, she laughed.
"Of course you didn't. And would you like to know a little secret?" She asked, leaning in and making her voice low and conspiratorial. "Even if you had, it wouldn't work. Not here on this island, and especially not in this hotel." She glanced at another set of girls that walked by half dressed on their way to the pool and smirked at him. "Lots of ways to be distracted, you see. If you did hide away in your room I'd have to wonder about you."
"I detest drama," she said with a nod. "And if you're able to do the things you say you can, like subconsciously help a woman work through her body issues, that leaves the door open even more for people to start confusing things with love. When someone shows you a way to work through your shit, it's hard not to love them sometimes. Add sex to that equation and... Shew. Powder keg."
