"Graphic novels are one of the more awesome opportunities for collaboration out there. I thought of them as somewhat meh until I read Maus and saw some of the painting-based graphics, such as were used for the Interview with the Vampire series."
His eyebrows went up again at the idea of finding suitable topics. "That could be a very interesting search. But I certainly didn't come here to hide in my room and write."
At the drama comment he shook his head. "People wonder why I'm so careful--that is why. Potent...well, dealing with some people's sexuality is like dealing with high explosives. Especially if they're confusing desire with love and getting all mixed up emotionally. I hate drama. Don't you agree? And I'm not into hurting people who don't deserve it, either.
