Despite her frail body, her weak heart, and her splotchy vision, there was one thing that Speck wasn't; she was no quitter. As the redhead nudged her away, Speck's fingers clamped like iron onto Psyche's sleeve. No WAY she was letting her go up there alone! She may be young, she may be weak, but she wasn't stupid. The building was coming down, there were explosions everywhere, and Psyche was only one person. If she couldn't convince her to leave with her, she wasn't leaving.
Speaking of which, Speck tugged on Psyche's sleeve and pointed at the door quickly, back the way she had come. With her vision returning, she got a look at the girl's....somewhat scary face. She was a pretty girl, but the lack of emotion in her face wasn't natural. Again, she tugged on Psyche's sleeve. There weren't that many civilians coming down the stairs anymore. They needed to leave as well, before this whole damn building came down on their heads.
