The realization hit him like a sack of bricks all at once. Short. Blond. Green eyes. Glasses. Mute. ...And her name was Spectre.
That was the only part that didn't fit--Spectre. He had met the girl in question before, but she had gone by the name of Tash Romansage.
This could only mean one thing... she had to be like them. Tash was also a contractor... and she had ran into the tower for some reason. That feeling he had before resurfaced.
...Could this have been a Pro-Entropy attack?
He crossed his arms. "Spectre..." He said, repeating the name to himself. As he did, the boy looked over. "I see... so she's... well, that complicates things."
He took a glance in Kartahn's direction and then back at Rafe. "...Erm, Rafe, what do you think we should do with this young chap here?"
He had been all too willing to allow the boy to come with them before, but this had been elevated to what could possibly be a Pro-Entropy attack. Above all else, they had to protect civilians. It was their duty. And the boy was just that--a civilian.
But somehow... that seemed wrong to Rupert. Why would a normal civilian have wandered into the tower on a skateboard...?
