Rupert furrowed his brow. He somehow felt that Rafe did not quite understand all of what he was trying to convey.
"Actually, the floor in the Prosecutor's Office is quite uncomfortable. Not to mention cold. But you see, most people just don't put as much thought into office luxuries as I do. The chairs there are all quite firm and some are uncomfortable to sit on. The one that was destroyed was custom made and it was made of the finest leather that money could buy... I suppose it might be silly to some but you see Rafe, when it comes to jobs like this where you deal with triple homicide cases or cases where unfortunate children are targeted and killed just for the reason that nobody would miss them, those small luxuries are what make the job bearable... albeit a bit."
