Lyon was speechless. Was it really possible that the boy in front of him was also a contractor? But he was so young... why in the world would he possibly contract? What reason would he have to sell his souls to those damned swindling bastards?
He felt a lecture stirring. But he just shrugged casually. It could easily be someone who was just privy to contractor information and was trying to crack him. If they had been surveying him for a while, they could've found some things out... but still, it was highly unlikely. Contractor information was strictly guarded. It wouldn't be so easy for someone to pry and get anything... unless they somehow got the jump on someone and forced them to tell. But for them to do that... they'd have to be quite terrifying... or just extremely connected.
He wouldn't give himself up so easily. If this person was a contractor, they could prove themselves as such.
"Maybe. But what does that have to do with me? Are you trying to say you're this man's accomplice? Funny. I heard he does everything solo. I doubt someone like him would have anything remotely close to allies... allies just get in the way. Make things complicated." He replied, feigning an aura of disinterest.
