This was the sort of image her boss said only appeared on Lullmart cards and TV specials and only at a great expense, lots of hopefully well-trained-but-probably-not mutts, and kids trained to be bright balls of sunshine onscreen but off-screen could be little vipers. This kid didn't feel like that. It was like there was genuine 'waves' as Rafe put it, a certain feel that felt like this was the real thing and that she fit that imagery perfectly.
And it was fricken' adorable. If Rafe wasn't sure that squealing or cooing or any sort of sound would break the moment she was sure she would have been doing something like that.
However, recording the moment couldn't hurt. When people talked about capturing a special fragment in time this had to count. She pulled her trusty camera from it's case, silently but quickly. She focused on that strange, rare sight and the bright smile, waited for the optimum poses from them all, and then took a shot with an audible 'click'.
