There was a decent sized dent in the hood of the taxi as the driver stared at the exchange of the two blonde girls. He stayed back for a moment, cellphone out, waiting for if he should call an ambulance or something.
Meanwhile, on the ground, the child looked stunned at the sky. here was suddenly a face swimming in her vision. The small child's hand slowly moved to her own face so she could re-adjust her specs. Ah, that was better... why was the woman so worried looking? Concern finally made its way onto Tash's facial features, mixed with confusion... and then she remembered that she was holding a hat. Strangely, Tash sniffed the hat. Yeah.... yeah it definitely smelled like this strange woman who was freaking out above her. Was the lady okay? What was wrong? What had happe--
OH. Her brain pieced together the moments leading up to this and, though she was gasping for breath, she smiled. It took a moment, but the child got to her feet, leaning on the taxi for support. She smiled and nodded, her breath coming in short and painful gasps as the hand not holding the hat clenched at the fabric above her heart. This wasn't good... this was actually reverse good.
Tash shoved the hat (carefully) into the woman's arms as she slid down the taxi into a sitting position on the ground, shaking hands fishing desperately into her pockets for her medication. Where the hell was it when she needed it?! There...! She almost dropped the container, but managed to keep it in her grasp. She had become good at dryswallowing pills by now, so she just shoved them in her mouth and swallowed. It took a few minutes, but her breathing began to even out, and she offered a weak yet apologetically triumphant smile to the hat lady.
