It really was too thin for this weather. Mirage tilted her head at Slade's tone, flinching a bit but not moving away. "... It was just a guess," she admitted, though her voice revealed her disappointment. "I don't consider it a habit. It's just the way I am. I'm broken." She pursed her lips and nodded to herself. "I just thought you were too." She pointed to her own eyes and stared at Slade with that oddly penetrating gaze. "You're different, right here."
