Re: Meanwhile off to the side
Remy crossed his arms with a slight scoff. Of course it would be Florence, of all people, who would make the address for Prism. He'd met the man on several occasions and had a few drinks with him, but Florence was the type of person someone like Remy could only stand in small doses.
He made a quiet sigh and tried not to look bored. He looked around the room, surveying the sea of faces to see if he recognized any of them. There were many that he'd seen several times before, but he doubt any of them really recognized him. The Upper Plate usually placed little priority on those who didn't own an extravagant mansion and those who weren't always out and about every night and day doing whatever. God, he hated them all so much.
In an effort to maintain appearances, however, he looked at the person next to him. She looked just as bored, if not more so. He craned his neck a bit to see if she looked familiar without trying to draw too much attention to himself. He recognized her, vaguely, but couldn't exactly place where.
"This is so stupid..." he said, just slightly above a mutter and with yet another sigh.
