Rodolphus had been amused when the owl regarding his 'marriage' had finally arrived. He'd been tempted to prod Rhianna about it but had eventually subsided. Why waste such an opportunity on something so insignificant? Best to leave it for a better time when it would provide more of a destabilising influence.
He had made final provisions for his 'wife' before leaving, having finally decided to assign the rooms on the second floor of the east wing of the manor to her. That would provide her with ample room and keep her far away from the family area on the first floor of the west wing of the manor. The house elves had ensured everything was clean and had orders to allow his wife to decorate as she wished... within reason of course. Nothing Muggle was to be permitted.
He dressed in a set of simple but elegant robes and after a moment's hesitation chose to take one of his canes with him. The weather was good enough that he didn't really need it but it would create an image of weakness that might be able to be exploited at a later date. He then made his way to the foyer and joined his Auror escort for the trip to the Ministry and the Minister's office.
"I believe that would be me," he said mildly as he walked in, having caught the crude comment from the woman who was obviously supposed to be his new wife. He looked her up and down coolly and found nothing about her that was pleasing in the slightly. She looked ghastly - gauche, crass and highly unattractive. His selection of accomodation for her had clearly been a stroke of genius on his part.
He turned and bowed slightly to the other two people in the room. "Minister." He paused for the barest moment and a gleam of amusement shone in his eyes for a moment before he continued. "Seer Nesta. Good afternoon. How delightful to see you both."
