Instead of arriving at 6:30 like he'd intended, Draco ended up arriving almost a full fifteen minutes later than he'd intended. There'd been a particularly difficult customer lingering at the shop and Addlewood had forbidden Draco to be seen by any customers. So Draco had been stuck twiddling his thumbs in the back room until the last patron left the shop.
It left him no time to make a brief stop at his flat to change like he'd intended, so when Draco arrived at the Zabini estate, he was still wearing his work clothes. Sans apron, of course, not that it made it any less embarrassing. But in classic Malfoy fashion, Draco kept his chin up as he arrived at the front door of the sprawling villa and tugged bell pull.
