Hey folks, just wanted to drop in and give you a little update. There are no adds, yet, but there are plenty of holds on this holds list, so perhaps next week we'll see some new blood. Please try and reach out to them, either on PB adds, or in the SL community, so that we see them coming back and helping our numbers and activity grow. Keep up the pimping and the good work, I know how hard it is to be active around the holidays. We're going to be trying to have some fun activites going on once we're in the new year to keep things lively, as well as, most likely, trying to do some form of an activity check in somewhere in early to mid January, to find out how many we've retained through the dead, dead time in RP-Land known as the Holidays.
Though, since we had no adds on Sunday and I didn't post, I will leave you all with the weekly post starter tonight, since it seems appropriate.

Hey guys!
I just wanted to drop you all a line for a couple of reasons. Being the anal retentive person that I am, I'll go ahead and number them for easy viewing and organization.
(1) I'd like to apologize to you all for lacking these last two weeks with actual add posts and sunday writing prompts. I made a big hoopla about activity and getting out there... and then failed you guys almost right after. This was in large part due to the fact that I had exams, 7 of them, in fact. I know it's not much of an excuse, but it's the only one I have. I can promise you, however, that this will be done, fixed, over with after the holidays. Withholding any act of God or major catastrophe, adds and weekly posts and activity expectations will resume starting after Christmas. Which leads me to number two.
(2) Another excuse. We're down to one mod now. Have been for some time. It looked for a while as if we might be regaining our two former mods, but unfortunately, that doesn't appear to be the case. This is where I ask if there's anyone who would like to step up and help me with some of the minor upkeep of the community. Updating the taken list, holds, the like. I'd love to keep this community open, because you guys are fantastic and it's almost the little community that could now, with all our setbacks, but I don't know if I'll be able to keep providing the kind of service I've been desperately trying to provide, alone. Comments are screened if you'd like to help out.
(3) I've always been told to end an entry with praise, so here it is guys. Straight up, you're doing great. Activity is fantastic given the time of year, where everyone is dealing with school stuff and holiday mayhem. So, really, thank-you for pulling in new members, posting and pimping. It's obviously making a difference.

We also did removals. Unfortunately, we lost quite a few people because they failed to comment on the activity post. While we're sad to see them go, this means that a lot of very popular faces are now open to be scooped out, so, everyone put on your pimping hats and get to work.
This week, we also reviewed your suggestions on the mod post last week. Some were hits and some were misses, but one idea seemed to be a huge success with everyone, so without much adieu, we bring you the weekly prompt.

So I accidentally spilled espresso on my fingers today, and despit having showered once and watched my hands God knows how many times since then, my thumb still smells like expresso. Normally, I like the smell of coffee, but now it's starting to my stomach turn. Anyone else have a similar problem? Or how about some way to stop smelling like Goddamn coffee. I was at the library and someone asked me who had coffee.
