So apparently she'd hit a nerve, she thought, feeling her eyebrows raise as Dakota rambled. "O~Kay." She said slowly, drawing out the word. She was not going to touch whatever that was, she'd decided. She certainly didn't know this woman well enough to even try.
"Hey, whatever, it's cool." She said dismissing the apology easily with a shrug. It was easy to shrug off when she wasn't offended, just confused mostly. Maybe a little sad for her, too, if that was really how Dakota felt what being passionate about something was. "You do you." She wasn't really sure what else to say to basically a rant against caring too much about things.
