With LJ being down this weekend, I'm going to extend the sign-up deadline to 5 p.m. EST on Tuesday, November 7. I will still be sending out assignments on or before November 10.

Feel free to pass this information along in your journals. Remember, this is a low-key exchange, with a 500 word minimum, January 10 deadline, with all romantic pairings and gen allowed.

In the meantime, if you've signed up already, you're welcome to post your Dear Santa letters here in the community. All those who have signed up should have received an e-mail from me in confirmation, and have been approved as a community member.

Dear Santa,

I hope you remember me. That little het girl of yours. Sometimes I don't mind a little femslash but, Santa, you know how I like my het. For Christmas I'm not asking for much. In fact you can ask my sister rainlight_lyn because she doesn't have a clue what to get me because I don't know what to ask for anymore.

Except with fic.

You see, for Christmas I'd like a fic. It doesn't have to be much. It doesn't have to have smut (though I wouldn't object to such a thing). I have an OTP, Santa, but I'm not asking for fic from my OTP... I would love to see some Ron/Pansy. I wrote some last year and I kind of like it now. Same with Draco/Luna. My interest in George/Hermione came from all the offscreen flirting that my George at Ex Obscurus did with Hermione though a fic featuring them wouldn't have to have that background. I dabble in femslash, Santa. I read a number of different pairings and have no set ship, so I picked a pairing (Susan/Hannah) that I'd never read before.

If, dear Santa, this fic could be set in a different country... if it had some sort of plot... if Ron didn't pine for Hermione... if Luna was completely IC... if there was a happy ending... if there was a bit of romance... Goodness, that would definitely be a fic I'd read.

And if you could see it in your heart to bring me Andrew Smith... He has such curly, curly hair... Oh how I'd be a very happy girl... I promise I'd share him with tarotemp!

Dear Santa,

I want a pony. But if I can't have a pony, please bring me some Snape/Lupin instead. I think it might fit better in my stocking than a pony anyway.

I like hot Snape/Lupin smut with wall!sex and partially clothed!sex (because they're so desperate, they can't wait long enough to get completely naked). I also like frottage, mpreg, spanking, and mild BDSM.

But my Snape/Lupin doesn't have to be smutty as long as it's romantic, maybe a little humorous (romantic comedy rather than parody), and has a happy ending. A Christmas-themed piece would be very welcome, but it doesn't necessarily have to be. I prefer adult!Snape/Lupin over Marauders Era Snape/Lupin. I would prefer that there isn't any mention of past Remus/Sirius, although past Remus/Tonks is fine.
