As you all know, Dust Till Dawn had recently just come off it's hiatus. Like any storyline that does so, it's having some difficulties with activity. So, we're going to remind you guys of some old ( and start some new ) rules that will hopefully promote activity around here. Among all of this, we will be revamping the profiles, character pages, contacts, etc. If you guys have any other ideas for activity, let us know here. We always love to get feedback from you guys! :D So, here go the new ( and existing ) rules.
o1. Despite the fact that we stress this over and over again, it seems to be a rule that's looked over. Lately, almost everyone, including the mods, have been guilty of breaking this rule. Replies must be done in a matter of three days. Guys, we understand if you have something in real life. I'm a mother, a wife, a business owner and a student. We understand real life comes first but you have to tell us. Starting tomorrow, anyone that is consistently breaking this rule will be removed without notice. This will be enforced.
o2. There are numerous players that have more than one character. That's great! Unfortunately, a number of those characters get left to gather dust. If we notice a character getting neglected, we will put it up for grabs without notice.
o3. One-on-one threads must be closed in two weeks, three for those with more than two characters. If the thread is not closed in that amount of time, you must mark it as complete and move on. This keeps the plots going.
o4. While we love to help you guys with plot, we won't be responsible for coming up with everything. We want you to be creative! Not posting because "I can't think of anything to do with my character" is unacceptable, guys. If you can't find someone to thread with at the time, do a one-shot! We'd rather see a one-shot of your character picking their nose than see absolutely no activity from you guys.
These rules may seem, and probably are, strict. But we have to enforce these due to the lack of activity. And we don't know about you guys, but we love this storyline too much to let it die right now. We
want you guys to have fun! But we also want there to be some activity. All of these rules will go into effect Monday. And any threads still open need to be closed by Wednesday, regardless of where they are in progress. Think of it as cleaning a slate so that we might start a new one. :D
