Who: Cassandra & Evan What: Hogsmeade date! Where: Hogsmeade When: Beginning at 10 I believe? Rating: Medium maybe
This morning, Cassandra was almost sick with excitement. She was going to Hogsmeade with Evan Rosier, the same boy she’d fancied for six years, had been flirting with for six years, but hadn’t done anything with for six years. She had noticed his flirting on the journals, but it hadn’t bothered her one bit. She too was a flirter, so she tried to understand. Under the bits of jealousy, Cassandra knew it was her he’d specifically mentioned in his journal, and it was her he was going to Hogsmeade with, and it was her he’d kissed the other day, not the other girls. That thought alone made her giddy. Besides, she kept getting adorable and romantic notes from him; surely he didn’t have the patience to write out notes for all the girls vying for his attention. No, it was only Cassandra. At least, she hoped.
Cassandra had woken up early, much earlier than necessary. She took a shower, spent a ridiculous time on her hair, only to realize she hated it. After another shower, Cassandra did her hair to her satisfaction. It wasn’t anything terrible special – let down with waves and curls. Though it took Cassandra hours, it had the ‘just out of bed’ look to it, and it was a style Cassandra had adored for many years now. Her makeup took a while, again for the amount of time it took her, it looked like she was hardly wearing any at all. That was the secret to getting ready, making it appear as though she’d just hopped out of bed this way. Lastly came her outfit. This gave Cassandra the most trouble. Should she wear a dress? Skirt? Pants? Shorts? The weather didn’t seem terribly warm. At the end of it, Cassandra decided on a mini-skirt with one of her favourite shirts. It revealed just enough to make anyone want more. Finishing it off, Cassandra grabbed a coat to keep her warm. Although, if today went as she hoped, it would be Evan keeping her warm, not her coat.
Finally okay with her appearance, Cassandra took a deep breath. With a smile she couldn’t fake, Cassandra make her way down the stairs and into the common room. She still could hardly believe this was all happening.
