Gideon had done the rounds, too--chatting up a few people, even playing a few drinking games. Always, though, he somehow found himself back at the 'refreshments' table, refilling his cup and trying his luck at the Which-Bertie-Bott's-Bean-Does-THIS-Shot-Taste-Like game. This time, it was something sweet--better than the snot flavoured one he'd had last time, which had almost made him puke, but he couldn't quite place his finger on what it was. He'd also had a brownie or two, and all in all he was feeling quite good.
He was staring at the empty shot cup, other hand holding his very full punch cup, trying to figure out what the flavour was, when Lily came up. Gideon couldn't tell if she was talking loudly because she was drunk or he just thought she was talking loudly because he was drunk. "Hey Lily!" he responded, face breaking into a wide grin. His voice was just as loud as hers. "I'm jussst peachy," he replied. "Have you tried those brownies?" he asked her with a grin. "They are ace."
He picked up a shot of the same colour as the one he'd just taken. "Try this," he said. "I just had one, it's delicious!"
