"I can handle my addiction, I can quit at any time." She told him seriously. "We're rockstars, living it up on a Saturday night surrounded by sweets." She reached out to pinch his cheeks joking. "So cute, look at this face." She ruffled his hair endearingly. "Honestly though Gid, some bird does probably fancy you, Im a bird so I know these things." She wasn't an expert on fancying, but Gid was cool and she couldn't understand why some girl wouldn't want him.
"They are, oh my goodness they are. They're so boring, I feel like I'm watching paint dry when Im in the room with them. Except Dromeda of course, she's cool. And Reg, actually Alecto isn't bad either, but still, that's like three." She pointed out. "They're so proper, and they call everyone Miss whoever, Mr whoever. It must be exhausting being them." She couldn't understand why any girl wouldn't want to wear jeans and trainers. "Right, let me move in here with Dorcas and you, I promise I wont take up too much space." She smiled over at him. "Im an excellent roommate."
And then the storm happened. She didn't even see Fabian enter and then she heard him. She watched with mere curiosity, mimicking kissing noises. "Are you having a good time?" She asked him dead serious. "Is your friend no one a good snog?" She shifted so she could cross her legs.
Watching Gideon lunge at Fabian was surprising, but she had seen this sort of thing before being on a Quidditch team with all boys. She popped another Bertie Botts in her mouth, toffee, delicious. "Come on guys, break it up." She went to pull herself off the couch going to get in between them.
