She wouldn't admit it, but Clara was relieved Lucius had an idea because she certainly didn't. It seemed logical to her; the matches were designed to make fire, so they belonged in the fireplace. They weren't very big, so that must be why Professor Kent had sent over so many.
"One box is probably fine for now," Clara said, nodding. It wouldn't do to start too large of a fire. Who could have thought the castle could be so cold, though?
Wrapping her arms around herself for warmth, Clara admired the neatly organized matchsticks. "So," Clara had the distinct impression she was going to sound foolish again, but it was cold, damn it. "The fire will start on top of the matches, right?"
