Florean wasn't sure if he was imagining Regulus shifting closer or not, but he was pretty sure that he wasn't. It seemed like he could feel the body heat coming off the other boy more acutely than before. He still felt chilly though, and a little bit damp in spit of the fact that he had shed his wet robe.
He nudged Regulus playfully with his knee. "Muggles actually have organizations for that, did you know?" He smiled brightly, enthusiastically, not concerned that Regulus couldn't see it. "I've never come across any of them personally, but Professor Kent's told us about some of them in Muggle Studies. Some of them, like, stage protests and stuff, and some of the more extreme ones will break into places that experiment on animals and set them loose." Florean paused, picturing it. "I would love to do that. Let those poor animals back into the wild, where they belong."
Hearing a strange sound, Florean squinted into the darkness and leaned forward, trying to make out what it was, before Regulus laughed. He recalled that it had been the other boy's calling for his pet that had helped him identify Regulus in the first place. "How is the new cat working out, anyhow?" he asked, genuinely curious.
He leaned back against the wall again, re-settling against his friend, and again taking notice of the slightly damp feeling that lingered. An idea popped into his head, making him blush profusely, and he hoped Regulus wouldn't feel the sudden heat in his face. All the same, he figured that it wasn't a bad idea and decided to go for it before he could spend too much time thinking about it and managed to talk himself out of it. He lifted up the arm closest to Regulus, pulling it out from between the two of them, and tentatively made to place it around the other boy's shoulders. "Do..." He had to pause to clear his throat. "Do you mind?" he asked, hoping Regulus hadn't taken too much notice of the pause. "I thought maybe it might help you warm up faster."
