Regulus looked over when he heard his name, but it didn't help when he couldn't see a foot in front of his face. He could tell where it was coming from, but he couldn't make out exactly where he was or how to get to him. He was, at least, pretty sure that it was Florean. A thought that calmed him down and made him more nervous all at the same time. Mostly he was just glad that he was going to get to see the other boy, after all, when he'd been afraid he'd never be able to make it to the library tonight. See might be the wrong word, considering, but it would be enough just to talk to him.
Regulus made his way more quickly in the direction of Florean's voice, glad for the brief flash of lightening. They weren't near any stairs, at least not from what he could see before it went dark again. He kept his hand on the wall, just in case. He used to make his way around his house at night, just like this, when he was young and scared of the rather morbid decorations covering the walls of Grimmauld Place. But while he could make his way around at home with his eyes shut tightly, school was a rather different matter. "It's me, can you keep talking? I'm trying to find you I'm just... more than a little lost, I think. Are we anywhere near the library yet? The lights went out when I was on the second floor. What happened, anyway?"
Lightening flashed brightly again, and Apollo decided that it would be safest hiding under Regulus' robe, soaking wet or not. He probably should have at least taken the time to change into some dry clothes, but he doubted he'd have gotten as far as he had if he did. Not to mention he hadn't expected that his wand wouldn't work when he reached for it. He had tried five times, unsuccessfully, to dry his clothes and cast a warming charm even though he couldn't get a simple light from his wand. Regulus had given up on that on the last staircase up, but maybe just getting rid of the robe would help. That would have to wait until he sat down.
"I'm sorry I'm late. They canceled practice and I thought I could actually make it here before you did. But well..." Regulus gestured out at the darkness, rather uselessly. It's not like the Ravenclaw would be able to see his hands more than even he could. "I guess you kind of understand, yourself."
