"I feel as if I'm shrinking, next to you and Fabian," Molly laughed, plopping down beside Gideon on the couch. She reached over and broke off a piece of the pumpkin pasty in his hand, popping it into her mouth. Molly was often overly critical of her cooking, even though she knew she was rather good at it. She muttered under her breath, "Could've used more nutmeg."
She pulled her legs up onto the sofa, wrapping her arms around her knees and resting her chin on top of them. "So, Giddy, how're things going so far?" she asked, smiling warmly at her brother. She teasingly poked his side. "Have you got a date for Hogsmeade? Tell me now, Gid, so I can run a thorough background check and make sure she's good enough for my baby brother."
