As Regulus turned, Sirius put his hands in his pockets and slowly walked up beside him. He stayed on his feet, though. Sitting down wasn't something Sirius wanted to do right now. He would curl his body up and get warm, only to freeze again. At least his hands were warm now, deep in his pockets. "It's a cat, Regulus. They're wild. He probably loves it out here. He probably comes outside when you're at class. I heard cats are pretty clever." Sirius kicked at dirt on the ground. He didn't know that fact from experience, that was for sure. The last thing Walburga would do was buy her horrible son something lovable and sweet. Sirius decided to ignore the bit about Cam's cat. He didn't know too much about it, and as much as he might hate Slytherins, Sirius knew a cat didn't deserve to be in the crossfire. No matter how vicious it was.
At Regulus' comment, Sirius looked down. He shrugged and then smiled. "I'm fucking freezing, actually. Look at it out here," Sirius said while circling his hips to point. His hands were not leaving his pocket, that was for sure. "It should be warm! Sun's been playing tricks on me, apparently. I'll get it back though," Sirius said with a smile. Now that the weather had turned, Sirius was going to wear five layers at all times, more when he knew he'd be outside. Stupid outdoor subjects. Sirius still hadn't got warming charms down pat. They worked for a while, but if they didn't wear off they got too hot.
"Oh? I donno. Haven't really talked to her. She was too busy dancing with Gideon Prewett," Sirius said, an obvious bite to his tone. It wasn't a secret Sirius wasn't happy Lily was with Gideon and not James. "Not that she has any right to be. She should be with James."
