Theo had done her best to stay out of it as well. Truthfully, she was a fan of the idea of James and Lily together, and had been doing her part to support the boy in his endeavors. She didn’t have anything against Gideon personally, though, and he seemed to make Lily happy. So, for now, she was content to let the pieces fall where they may. Hopefully, if Lily and Gideon were meant to make a solid run of their relationship, James would find a new girl of his own to love.
She liked his laugh, though she was a fan of laughter in general. She grinned as it echoed, hardly concerned with being caught at this point. They were far enough from the castle to escape eyes, anyway. She shrugged at his response, her smile remaining. “I couldn’t tell you for sure that I would like it, given that I’m not entirely certain that you’re good at it. You might be awful.”
