Paul simply shook his head. He had heard through the grapevine (and the journals) about the drama that had ensued about a month before between Gideon Prewett and James Potter over one Lily Evans. He was never particularly invested in Gryffindor drama -- or any drama, really -- and found the whole thing stupid. He didn't take a side in the matter either; despite the fact that Paul and Gideon were mates, Paul hated to see James's heart crushed since he was nice enough.
He laughed loudly at her reaction, the echo bouncing off the trees in the distance. He supposed they should be more inconspicuous, but he decided to hell with it. His laughter faded into a soft grin mirroring hers. "True," he said with no hesitation. "That's not really much of a question. The real question is true or false, you would like it if I did."
