The rolling and tumbling was sure to leave a vast supply of bruises in random places along her body, but Theo was too amused to care. She lost her shoes only seconds into the fall, her wings barely staying attached as she continued to roll, laughing all the way. She barely had enough time to settle at the bottom before she felt the weight of Paulie against her, the air knocking from her lungs at the impact before it recollect itself with more laughter.
She frowned playfully at him at his comment snaking her arms from beneath him and shoving him just enough to combat his words, but not enough to push him from her. “It’s a good thing Quidditch doesn’t take place on the ground or you’d never be able to keep up,” she said, pinching his side before arching one of her arms back to rest behind her head. “I’m fine. I lost my shoes,” she said. “You?” She grinned up at him, watching him curiously from their close proximity.
