Closed to Theo, Paulie, Chase, Keenan, and Jake.
Theo had joined the efforts to find Chase very shortly after her discussion with Paulie, needing some way of fighting the helpless feeling that accompanied learning about what had occurred within the school right under their noses. Those poor girls, she couldn’t imagine. Being forced to do things to a monster like that Mulciber creep? And then hiding it? It was horrifying and Theo was frankly a little terrified.
She realized that going out on her own directly contrasted with what she’d only just promised Paulie, but she simply couldn’t help the desire to do something to help. With all of the others in the corridors searching, she doubted that she’d be alone for long enough to fall into trouble. Of course, that assumption didn’t negate the fact that she was wandering alone.
After awhile of searching with no luck, Theo sighed and ventured into an enclosed sun nook extending a floor below the entrance to the Ravenclaw common room. It was here that her luck shifted dramatically. While collecting her thoughts, she happened to catch sight of a familiar figure. Her heart both leaped in her chest with relief and plummeted with fear as she noted the blood. She collected herself for a half-second before sliding to the ground beside Chase, falling instinctively into healer mode. “I have been looking everywhere for you, Chasey,” she said. “I scared all of the goblins away.”
She pulled him gently into her lap, assessing the damage by gently pushing his hair away to see the nasty gash that seemed to be the source of most of the blood. Using the edge of her sleeve to wipe some of it up, she kept her expression perfectly calm. "You hurt your pretty little face," she said, mentally willing someone to stumble upon them to help her.
