Emily didn't know what was going on. She never knew what was going on, especially with Chase. He was always in trouble, and he was always in some sort of mess. But this time, Emily knew something was wrong. Very wrong. She knew it deep down in her gut, and it had her head running to all the wrong places. It was making everything in her body ache, and she couldn't sit still.
With her cheeks already streaked with tears and her eyes red, Emily ran out of her dormitory, where she had been attempting to get some work done. But she couldn't very well do anything now. Her brother was missing, and now everyone feared that something was wrong, very wrong. He was hurt, or even worse. He could end up just like that poor fifth year Ravenclaw girl, and that would just devastate Emily. She would be beside herself. No matter what, Em loved Chase, more than anything. He was her family, her brother, she wanted him safe.
"Chase!" she cried, without thinking. No one knew where he was, after all, he could very well be in the kitchens or somewhere near the Hufflepuff dormitory. Nearly tumbling out of the door, she went racing down the corridor, looking every which way. "Chase Harper! Someone, please help me find my brother!"
