The note.
Cassandra couldn't get the damn note off her mind. They needed to talk? What about? Had she done something wrong, or was Evan just growing tired of her? It didn't make sense. From Cassandra's perspective, everything had been going amazingly. He'd managed to keep her calm when all she wanted to do was freak out, and she'd been there night after night to keep him company. Even Emmy had recognized the pair of them had something, and congratulated Cassandra on it. Emmy - Evan's best mate. Of all the scenario's Cassandra had obsessed about, none of them fit. Each was much ludicrous than the last, and it was nearly driving her mental.
Before leaving Slytherin, Cassandra had showered, curled her hair, and put on a dress. At least if he was leaving her in the dust, he'd regret it when he saw her tonight. Dabbing on a bit of makeup and lipstick, Cassandra sighed. She should have been excited for a meeting with Evan, but instead she was dreading it. Without leaving word with the girls, Cassandra left Slytherin and made her way to the greenhouses.
Greenhouse # 3. Did it mean anything? Maybe it meant something. Maybe Cassandra had missed something in his note. The very same note she'd read a hundred times over. With a heavy sigh, Cassandra reached for the door and pulled it open.
