Blowing a bit of hair out of her face, Marlene leaned against the edge of the tower, just looking out aimlessly. With fall quickly closing in there was already a nice chill in the air to keep her from zoning out too much, but not enough to need a warming charm. So she stood there, taking a slow drag as she looked over the grounds. Up here she did not have to field even innocent remarks about her family. She did not have to pretend to be anyone she wasn't, unlike what it felt like she was doing constantly now. And right now she did not have to worry about who it was in the school that was bringing the violence in.
Knocking a bit of ash off, she sighed and turned around, slumping down to the ground lazily. That's when she noticed someone there. She was about to push herself up from her new comfortable sitting position before she realized who it was. "You're the dress boy, aren't you?" she said, letting go of a little puff of smoke.
