Contains: The box settled on Gideon's bed is pretty much jumping around, spot to spot, as it bangs around viciously inside. Once opened, a peaceful looking book is settled within and once Gideon opens it up, it immediately starts to cheer. The book is an 'everything you need to know' about quidditch. Not only does it have pictures and autographs of almost all the people on the major quidditch teams, it also has the option to view plays not just on the paper, but in the mind. So he can feel what it's like to do a certain move.

WHERE: Common room bulletin boards, and one will be posted on the bulletin board outside the Great Hall.

At curfew (eleven pm), students will notice a new bulletin appearing. The first Hogsmeade Trip date has been announced. On Saturday, September 25th, students with permission slips will leave the school at ten am. They are permitted to stay in Hogsmeade no later than ten pm. For students that this is their first year, the Heads of Houses will hold a meeting on Hogsmeade etiquette and rules.
