Hermione smiled fondly at Ron when he alluded to how it was Harry's socks that had freed Dobby from Lucius Malfoy. Then, she finally took a bite from the beans and bacon Ron had made and agreed with Harry about how good they were. Perhaps a bit dry, but considering how they would have tasted had she not reminded him that they needed water, they had turned out quite well.
But she didn't mention that. "It was only a suggestion," she said, not letting him hand the credit over to her. After all, he had tried and had been thoughtful to make dinner.
Taking another bite and chewing, she shook her head. "No, I want to get started on it tonight," she said determinedly. "After all, we hardly have anything planned for this evening and the sooner we get started on it, the sooner it's done, and the sooner we can get that Locket from Umbridge."
