Hermione wasn't sorry she was stuck with two boys as best friends. In her opinion, she thought the presents were sweet and thoughtful. After all, she would have found it both excessive and unnecessary for either of them to go out and purchase an actual gift. After all, they only had so much money and had been rationing it already to cover whatever expenses came up over the course of... however long it would take them to destroy the horcruxes.
When Harry handed her the ill-wrapped present, instead of turning her nose upward, Hermione smiled and touched his arm. "Thank you, Harry!" she said, giving it a squeeze and tucking the package into her pocket for later. For now, she was thoroughly enjoying the sugar quill Ron had given her as it was, admittedly, a personal favourite of hers. Though don't tell her mother or father that.
"Surprisingly well, actually," she answered Harry, watching as Ron got up to retrieve their dishes and utensils. "I managed to get the rest of the ingredients for some polyjuice potion so that we have it when we need it and I also managed to get you both another pack of socks since you've already managed to wear holes into a pair or two of those." Though how they managed that, she wasn't sure. Granted, she had a pair like that too, but she wouldn't admit it right off. "Oh, and food! I picked up enough to last us for a bit and even had enough left over for a bag of crisps."
