Character Name: Akosua Mollown [Ah-KOseeah] Age: 28 Birthday: 2nd March
Personality: Often goes by Akos to her friends.
She's a big time reader and a big time learner, about anything. Akos is smart and knows she's smart and won't let anyone try and convince her otherwise.
Can be a little pretentious but was much worse when she was younger. But she can still be found lounging around in a coffee shop reading poetry to her friends by low flattering lights. They're those sort of people.
Likes to be the host and invite everyone around, and then finds herself resentful of them all being in her space.
Makes and leaves around little origami animals. (She can only knows how to make four though- swan, crab, dinosaur and dog.)
She's bisexual and leans a little more towards men, but she also made a conscious decision years back that she was no longer dating cis-men. (Sure, sometimes she makes out with them and has even slept with a few since saying she was off them, but she would never date one.)
Her mother is Muslim and her father is Catholic, but she is firmly anti-religion.
History: Raised in Ireland to an Irish father and a Ivorian mother, she was born and lived the first year of her life in her mother's native Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast). They went back to visit a few times, but mostly her Irish upbringing only had a few outside influences: Her mother loves to cook so she was raised on a lot of West African dishes, and she grew up in a house that spoke both English and French.
Double majored in art history and psychology, but dropped the art history not long into it. She wrote her masters paper on 'The Influence of Ethnicity on Empathic Accuracy', and her doctorate on 'Ethnoracial Differences in Symptom Presentation and Treatment of PTSD'
She's been graduated for about a year now and has been looking for careers, and a job offer of interest has just popped up in London, where a dear dear friend of hers has happened to return...
