Looking for a sort of Lolita/Talented Mr. Ripley inspired line where an older man is enlisted to help bring a wild teen back to his father's illustrious home and keep him in line. Of course, this doesn't go as planned when the boy easily charms his "handler" and a relationship of obsession, seduction and a building sickness between them forms.
I'm open to a couple of different eras for this and I'm open to different PBs, I have a few to offer up. The age is negotiable. (I should specify I'd like to try my hand at playing the younger character currently.)
Looking for 3rd person threading and someone who doesn't mind plotting until we feel solid about the line.

Any chance anyone out there might be interested in a bookverse Sherlock Holmes? (And 90s bbc radio show influenced too tbh.) Open to pretty much anything. Slash, gen, though not so much het with this Holmes. Fellow bookversers, canonmates from other interpretations of the stories, characters from other Victorian set pieces that can be smushed together Penny Dreadful style, an oc,maybe there's a game he can be shoved in somewhere, etc. Open to playing all eras of Holmes too. Young, pre-Watson, university aged bratty Holmes. Pre-reichenbach really getting into his groove as consulting detective Holmes. Post-reichenbach in his prime Holmes. Thinking about retirement and bees Holmes.
Don't know why my love for this awful Victorian weirdo has reawakened, but hopefully someone else out there is also into it. Putting feelers out here in particular because the nature of the character/canon/setting has the potential for darkness and I'm the kind of person who'll happily follow that where it leads.
