They have always been here. For as long as there has been a here, there have been the gods and immortals and monsters who walk among us, reigning from above or from the shadows or from beneath our feet. They have birthed wars and strife and suffering. They have given gifts and praise and favor. Temples have been erected in their honor, cults formed to show adoration. For thousands of years, people have sung of their glory, and for thousands of years to come, they will continue to fall at their feet.

In 2018, the deities of old still rule the world. It has never been any other way. All throughout human history, this has been all mankind has known, and it is all they will ever know, for the gods aren’t going anywhere, and the earth is theirs for the taking.
